What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Changes in performance start or end time should not be a problem, usually changes are to do with earlier set up time etc.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if timings change considerably
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes I can play a setlist of either background easy listening standards etc for early evening or for when people are eating.
Or the usual favourite dance floor fillers in a non stop mix.
How much time do you need to set up?
Usually an hour or so from arrival to set up ready to go. If needs be an set up in the day (for wedding for example)
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
I am very happy to play on a piano at the venue as long as it is in working condition. A good yardstick is that someone has played it recently or it has been tuned within living memory. I
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
I am happy for you to pick the songs from my setlist entirely.
Just pick a ballad every so often for the romantics and for me to get my breath back!
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Yes I have 2 electronic pianos that I use, in case their is a double set up for example Wedding ceremony, then the reception.
And one is narrower in case of limited space.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Usually people have one or two songs that have special meaning for them, special songs like say for the processional of a wedding or the first dance I can normally learn given a couple of days notice.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
I have a vast repertoire of nearly 1000 songs which I honed by playing 4 or more sets a day for 6 months at a time on cruise ships.
I play everything from standards (Sinatra etc) to pop, rock n roll Elton, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Eagles and everything in between
