Andrew is amazing at what he does. He played a few songs for us during our wedding service including hymns, working with our friend who plays the viola and playing a final piece that meant a lot to the family. Nothing was too much and he was prompt and polite every time we met him. Andrew made us both feel very at ease and we both felt confident leaving it in his expert hands (or should I say fingers) You made our day one to remember Andrew, thank you for everything.

Andrew was the organist for our wedding at St Peter's, Stonyhurst on 6th November 2021. He met with us before hand to go through the music we wanted, and even played some other pieces for the wedding march to consider. He happily played our hymn requests and it was beautiful on the day, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the church for the ceremony.

Andrew’s help in planning the music for our daughters wedding mass was invaluable. From our first meeting together we felt reassured and happy with his ideas and suggestions. My daughter wanted her friend to sing her down the aisle and his kindness and support ensured this was the most beautiful and moving start to her day. We would highly recommend Andrew without hesitation.

I've worked with Andrew on various projects over the last couple of years. He has a cool, calm approach and pays attention to details.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I am comfortable across a wide range of repertoire. I am a classically trained organist and pianist, but experienced in jazz, pop and rock too. A recent wedding saw me finish with the Beatles' 'All you need is love' on full organ!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've played at churches across the UK, including cathedrals.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I don't usually book more than one wedding on the same day, but sometimes if someone *else's* timings have already changed, this does happen. So just let me know and I'll do whatever I can to reschedule. It's best to let me know before you firm things up! For other events, you need to get in touch ASAP as I will often have a few commitments on the day.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

At services, I’m happy to play pieces, either of your choice or my own, up to quarter of an hour before the start time.

How much time do you need to set up?

I will generally arrive around 30 minutes before a church service. If it's an organ I'm playing, I'll look it up before I arrive and may check with the priest/vicar/minister if I need any additional practice time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You can have free choice on pieces from my list and other pieces--very happy to play whatever you like!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Most churches, chapels and crematoria will have an organ and/or piano. I'm afraid I'm not able to supply an instrument at the moment.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, I'm very happy to!
