Andrew Harding

Andrew Harding is a pianist and singer from Maynooth with over 15 years of musical experience. He has performed twice at Electric Picnic, and played at venues such as The Grand Social, The K Club and Barberstown Castle (where he currently plays as a resident pianist) in a variety of capacities including keyboardist, singer, accompanist and solo pianist. He holds a first class honours degree in music from Maynooth University, and an Associate Diploma from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in piano. For three years, he was a member of the Maynooth University Chamber Choir, who won the prestigious Choir of the Year award in 2015. He currently teaches piano lessons, holds music therapy sessions in special schools, accompanies congregations on the organ and plays solo piano gigs. Andrew's diverse musical background has built his proficiency in classical, choral, jazz, pop, rock, blues, soundtrack and religious music and a range of other genres. He has accumulated an extensive and diverse repertoire of easy listening, pop, rock, soundtrack, folk and jazz songs. He is equally comfortable playing sheet music and learning by ear, which tailors him for a wide range of events, including drinks receptions, dinner music, wedding afterparties, accompaniment for choirs or soloists and more.
