My name is Andrea Solarino and I am a professional Jazz Guitarist with nearly 30 years’ experience in teaching and performing. I have played with many renowned Italian and British jazz musicians such as Fabrizio Bosso, Pietro Tonolo and Martin Speake and have performed in several important Jazz Festivals in Italy. I recorded 4 albums: two as a co-leader (Solarino/ Manzi quartet/quintet- Tell me the story and Qube Quartet- Waiting) and two as a side man (Mp's Jazzy Bunch-Lazy Saturday and Mp's Jazzy Bunch feat. Fabrizio Bosso- Do you agree?). I studied with Chris Crocco, Greg Burk, Massimo Morganti, Luca Pecchia and Filiberto Palermini, Gilad Hekselman, John Parricelli to name a few. Bands available: I am available to perform with different line-ups, in order to meet your needs and to create the ideal atmosphere either for mingling and socialising or for a more sophisticated audience. The bands available spans from duo (guitar and bass /guitar and trumpet-saxophone, guitar and vocals) and can be augmented with extra instrumentalists and vocalists (trio, quartet or quintet) to fit your needs. Repertoire: The bands offer a repertoire from the Great American Songbook which consists of jazz classics from the 40s to the 70s, original songs written by me and contemporary Jazz.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-ups are available from duo to sextet to meet your needs: - Guitar/ Bass - Guitar/ Bass/ Saxophone - Guitar/ Bass/ Saxophone/ Drums - Guitar/ Bass/ Saxophone/ Piano/ Drums - Guitar/ Bass/ Saxophone/ Piano/ Drums/ Vocals You can decide which option suits you best.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide background music.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 45/60 minutes before the performance time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Unfortunately we can’t.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances. However if you request one particular song for a special occasion, we will be happy to do this.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We provide PA

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is any special song you would like us to learn, we are happy to do this for you.
