Andrea Maxson

Andrea is a Licentiate of Trinity College London and holds an honours degree in music. She has an extensive wedding, recital and chamber music repertoire including Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate, Schubert’s Ave Maria and Der Hirt auf dem Felsen. Andrea has appeared in many concerts, operas and operettas including various Gilbert and Sullivan productions. Operatic roles include Dido and Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and she has appeared as soprano soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria, Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Poulenc’s Gloria to name but a few. Church music is a passion and Andrea sings regularly with The Minster Singers. She has toured extensively, most recently to Iceland where she performed at the Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavic. Andrea teaches voice and violin privately and plays viola with the Cadenza String Quartet. She is vocal coach to the Minster choristers and at Stagecoach Performing Arts School. Andrea is a Fellow of the Guild of Musicians and Singers and a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and the Association of Teachers of Singing.
