Andy Basiola

Andy Basiola is an italian rock guitarist with more than 12 years of experience. He started playing guitar at the age of 12 growing up listening to artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Mr.Big, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, etc... In 2009 Andy moved to London, after winning a scolarship to study at Tech Music School, one of Europe’s leading music college, where he graduated in 2010. Over the years Andy has played and toured Europe with different bands. He also played some of London’s iconic venues, such as: 02 Shepherds Bush Empire, 02 Islington, 100 Club , Beck Theatre, Barfly, Underworld. In London, he has been playing with his 2 rock bands: Future Shock and Kill For Eden, and recorded 2 EPs and 2 album with them. Andy has also worked with producer Phil Kinman (Doogie White, Tank, Driven), and Ade Emsley (Iron Maiden, Steve Harris, Voodoo Six). In 2012 Andy was voted Best Individual Performer, by Playmusic Magazine, and in the same year he got aguitar endorsement deal with Fret King Guitars, and he is still featured on the company website as an artist. In 2014 Andy released his first instrumental track called :”Die To Live Again”. In the same year he became the guitarist for Skid Raw, UK’s top Skid Row tribute band and in 2015 he joined Europe's top Aerosmith Tribute Band "Toxic Twins" Andy is an experienced guitar teacher and teaches regularly, one to one or group lessons. His main style is rock but he teaches also styles like pop, blues, funk, classical, jazz, flamenco.
