Anastazie Vithova

I have a rich background performing classical repertoire, jazz, Czech folklore, and contemporary music. I enjoy solo works as well as collaborating with other musicians and working on new projects. Originally from the Czech Republic, I moved to London in June 2019. Before coming to the UK, I lived in the Untied States, Indiana (2012-2019). Here I established myself as a private violin teacher and freelance musician in the Indianapolis, IN area and received the Bachelor of Science in Music at the University of Indianapolis, IN (May 2018). I studied violin under Austin Hartman and Joana A. Genova and received chamber music training by Dennis McCafferty and Michael Strauss. I started my violin journey at the age of 5. I grew up playing Czech folklore as a member of the Folklore Group Stazka, performing at international competitions and festivals throughout Europe. In 2007 I started fulfilling my passion for jazz by joining the Junior Dixieland Marianske Lazne, as a violinist, violinophone player, and a singer. With the Junior Dixieland I expended my experience performing in local establishments and city events as well as international festivals in all parts of the world such as Switzerland, Germany, Poland, United States, and Australia.
