Amy Thompson is a Musicians’ Company Lambert Scholar at the Royal College of Music, studying with Sarah Burnett and Martin Gatt. She performs regularly as a soloist, including engagements at the National Portrait Gallery, BDRS Double Reed Day 2018, Junior RNCM, and with Westmorland Youth Orchestra. In 2016, Amy was an Artist in Residence at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, working with Anna Meredith to compose and perform music for the opening of Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond. As an accompanist, Amy has performed with Leon Bosch at the International Anthony Burgess Institute, Manchester, a concert organised by Classical Evolution, with whom she has collaborated both as a performer and an event administrator.
