Amelle - Singer Guitarist

Hi, I’m Amelle - a singer and acoustic guitarist based in Bath, and a full-time musician since 2018. I perform at around 150 events a year across the South West and beyond, from weddings and private parties to corporate events, festivals, and hospitality venues. My style is all about creating live music that feels personal, engaging, and just right for the setting. I tailor each performance to the atmosphere - whether that’s relaxed background music or an upbeat singalong vibe that brings people together. With nearly 400 songs in my repertoire, covering pop, soul, indie, rock, jazz and the occasional throwback, I love putting my own acoustic spin on favourites - from Bill Withers to Harry Styles to Paramore - while slipping in a few surprises for music fans who appreciate something a little different than the classic acoustic set. I started out performing in bars, restaurants, and pubs, and those early gigs were where I really cut my teeth. They taught me how to read a room, connect with different audiences, and understand which songs work best in any moment - lessons that still guide me every time I play.
 These days, my bookings range from garden parties to candlelit dinners to public events and special celebrations. I’m proud to count Ashton Gate Stadium, The Ivy, and De Vere Hotels among my regular clients, and to be a recommended supplier for wedding venues like Everards Farm in Somerset and The Bear of Rodborough in the Cotswolds. Weddings are the most meaningful part of my work. I work closely with each couple to curate a set that truly reflects their tastes and stories. At my core, I’m a music fan first and foremost, growing up in a household that embraced more than just radio hits, with a rich, eclectic mix of indie folk, alternative rock, soul, and jazz. This broad musical upbringing shapes how I approach every performance. I don’t want couples to feel stuck with the classic wedding playlist; instead, I bring a fresh perspective with songs by artists like Bon Iver, Florence + The Machine, Radiohead, and Sufjan Stevens - weaving unexpected gems alongside well-loved favourites. That said, what I love most about being a musician is the variety. No two events are the same, and I take pride in being reliable, approachable, and in tuning my performance perfectly to the occasion, whatever it may be.
