Amelia Hope

Amelia Hope is an experienced vocal performer and songwriter based in London. She is well into her jazz, soul, funk and blues combining big band elements with ear-friendly melodies to create commercially viable sounds. This will be reflected in her upcoming neo-soul/RnB/contemporary jazz album which she is currently co-writing with Dimitris Dimopoulos who has had a No. 1 in the UK Soul Charts with his latest production, "Sparkle" by Sulene Fleming, singer of renowned band, 'The Brand New Heavies'. Amelia has written the top line of a number of electronic tunes as part of collaboration projects with various producers; some of which were published by record labels across the globe: I.M. Red Trance Digital, Unearthed Records, Milk Records and SIXTYSEVENSUNS. Amelia has performed in legendary music venues such as The Troubadour (a historic live music venue that has hosted several big names; including Adele and Ed Sheeren), The Borderline in Soho (where R.E.M, Rage Against the Machine, PJ Harvey, Oasis and Eric Clapton have all graced its stage), Boisdale in Canary Wharf (described as “London’s No 1 jazz venue” by Tatler Magazine and having renowned Jools Holland as the Patron of Music) and Primo Bar (winner of the Time Out London Love award 'Best Music Venue' and Runner up in 'Most Loved Bar or Pub Award')! She has an ongoing contract for Sunday lunch performances at the renowned Mondrian Hotel, Sea Containers Restaurant in Southbank (home of the Best Cocktail Bar in the World). Top career highlights to date: (1) performing a three-hour jazz set for Grammy-nominated artist, Joseph Calleja; (2) being invited to perform at the 2018 Jazz Festival in Ealing, London performing some of her newest, original tunes with Keith Waithe and the Macusi Players on the main stage between the two main acts of the night; Zara McFarlane Afro-beat pioneer, Tony Allen; (3) being featured in a blog as one of the Top 10 Female Independent Artists.
