Amanita Grove

We are Amanita Grove, a Latin, Folk, Flamenco Funk, Bossa Nova and Neo-Soul duo from North Devon, bringing soulful vocals, Spanish guitar, loops and lo-fi rhythm. Our sound is chilled, cosy, ambient, relaxing and soulful, with very original Spanish guitar flavours and interesting percussion sounds. With upbeat numbers we can be funky, rhythmic, and catchy. Performing in English, Spanish and Portuguese, as a duo we are made up of Cheryl Silvawood on vocals, spoken word and percussion, and Jules Moberly on Spanish guitar. Amanita Grove was also featured on BBC Introducing and were played on the radio across BBC Devon, BBC Cornwall and the Southwest. The ethos is in our name; we look to spread love and joy through our #musicmycelium, bringing people of similar frequencies together with the love of music.  We have performed at hundreds of events and occasions, ranging from small parties and gatherings to larger festivals. Amanita Grove also performs as a trio, quartet and as a multicultural collaboration of musicians - Amanita Grove Collective - playing Afro-Latin jazz and soulful beats with a twist, further expanding our #musicmycelium. As a function duo/band, we play at weddings, receptions and events, creating an elegant, romantic, soulful and joyous atmosphere. With over 100 songs in our repertoire, we perform in a unique style, creating a special atmosphere for your special occasion. We also welcome specific songs requests in advance. Let us make your special occasion truly memorable.
