After reading music at Cambridge, Amanda Eloise went on to study acting at Drama Studio London. She has now performed as a singer or actress (sometimes both) in Morocco, America, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and up and down the UK. She has also recorded several CDs as a chorister, and has appeared live on ITV and BBC radio and television as a soprano.
Beginning her singing career as a soprano recitalist performing early music, and as a choral top sop, Amanda then branched out into jazz. It required a change of register and tone (she sings as an alto in jazz), and this versatility has led to Amanda being cast in musical theatre, folk and bluegrass shows in London and the Edinburgh festival.
As well as holding a DipABRSM in voice, Amanda has worked as a professional actor-musician, and is grade 8 on clarinet and piano with some professional guitar experience (rhythm and fingerstyle).
