Hi I’m Ally. I’ve been playing the bagpipes for 17 years and been serving in the British Army playing the bagpipes for the past 7 years. I learnt from one of the previous Sovereigns Pipers (The Queens Piper) so I’ve had great tuition and great amounts of experience. I currently play with the current Grade 1 WORLD Pipe Band Champions - People’s Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia. I am available for any occasion. I’m more than capable to do pretty much anything that you may desire for whatever the occasion might be.

How much time do you need to set up?

15/20 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I have many of tunes in my repertoire. If you’re looking for a piper you usually know what tunes you would like. You say and I more than likely should be able to deliver.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. Within the reason of bagpipes.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Musicality and the flexibility of my timings. The amount I can play when wanted. Basically you name it I can do it within bagpipe regions.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My Tutor. As he was the piper to the Sovereign.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The State Banquet In Buckingham Palace 3 times and counting.
