Verified profile

I first started off on the piano at the age of 7, then learning the French Horn from the age of 8. When I was 10, I went on to study at Chethams School of Music up until I was 18. During my years there, I have been away to the Island of Ischia and Poland performing with the school. I was also part of the National Children's Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain where I got to play with other children from across the country. From 2012 - 2016, I studied at the Royal College of Music where I got to perform in many music venues, have master classes and lessons with many big Horn players and getting to work with many great conductors. I have now newly moved to Hampshire where I live with my husband who is also a musician (Trombone) in the Royal Marines Band Service. I teach the French Horn and Brass in schools around Hampshire, help out orchestras across Hampshire such as the Sussex Sinfonietta and Bournemouth Philharmonic Society and I am recently in the Army Reserve Band.

A brief note to say that I've just passed my Grade 5. Thank you for all your help at the beginning of the year getting me started.

Just a quick one to say thank you all so much for not just the amazing performance yesterday but also the preparation everyone put in. Both Tim & Lou were dead chuffed with everything we did and couldn't thank us enough. Tim is already talking about next year and he wants us back.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I have been told I have a lovely sound which is always nice to hear!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

With full orchestras I have played at the royal festival fall, the sage gates head, the bridge water hall and more. I enjoy playing in most churches the acoustics in there and amazing!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love to play songs which people can sing along too, for example ‘Moon river’ or Elvis Presley ‘can’t help falling in love with you’

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed for the Queen when the arrived at Victoria Station in Manchester back in 2012 for her diamond jubilee.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change, please let me know as soon as possible :).

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! I could offer Spotify being played during sets from a playlist I have made for your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

Solo wise, about 30 60 minutes. I would need time to settle, set up and sound check if possible. If you need a group this may be longer to do sound checks/ warmups.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

If there is a specific song or two that you would like me to play, I would be happy to if I have had enough notice to rehearse :)

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If I am told in advance, I will do my best to full-fill your request
