About Alison

Hi, I’m Alison & I’m a Singer & Saxophonist based in West Sussex. I love playing music for weddings, private parties & corporate functions.
Alto Saxophonist
Pulborough

I have always loved music since I was a child, playing the piano and attaining Grade 8 with “Distinction” with The Associated Board of Music. I have sung lead and backing vocals in a variety of bands for many years and in 2013, finally had the opportunity to fulfil a dream and learn to play the saxophone. I am delighted that I now work full-time as a solo performer, alternating between singing and playing saxophone, providing background music to accompany drinks receptions at weddings, parties and corporate events. In addition to the function work, I am also very privileged to play at a select number of luxury residential, nursing, respite & convalescent homes across East & West Sussex, providing uplifting, fun & interactive musical entertainment for residents, their families, carers and staff. This is extremely rewarding! My extensive and varied repertoire is constantly being added to and covers a wide range of material to suit any audience. It includes songs by contemporary artists such as Michael Bublé and Caro Emerald, classic hits by Elton John and Van Morrison and even incorporates the swing standards of the 1950s from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Nat King Cole!

“Thank you so much for performing such a lovely selection of background music at our wedding during the drinks reception – it made the day extra special. Your singing and saxophone playing are both superb and you are also very professional. So many of our guests enjoyed your music and have told us how amazing they thought you were.”
