Alice read music at St Catherine's College, Oxford before taking up a place on the postgraduate course at the Royal College of Music studying Orchestral Percussion & Timpani, supported by an Ernest Hecht Award. She is now building a career out of theatre work, orchestral playing and teaching. Alice freelances across London in concert halls, theatres and recording studios and is a member of the London-based percussion quintet, Beaten Track. Recent work has included TV and radio performances with 'Tina: The Tina Turner Musical' and 'Six The Musical'; UK & Ireland tours of 'Love Actually in Concert'; recording sessions at Abbey Road Studios; and a session with the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop. She spent six weeks in Sicily as Principal Timpani for the Mediterranean Opera Festival 2016 and toured Denmark that Christmas with a production of 'The Nutcracker'. She is currently playing drums on 'Six The Musical' in the West End and depping on Cameron Mackintosh's UK & Ireland tour of Miss Saigon. She has taught percussion at Tiffin Girls School and classroom music in primary schools for the Da Capo Music Foundation. She currently teaches percussion, drums and piano at their Saturday centre, at Wren Academy and privately from her home studio.

The 11-piece orchestra is the very finest... Honestly, their playing alone is enough to justify your presence here.
