Ali Boeree

I graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2015 where she studied under Anna Noakes and Julian Coward. After graduating I worked as a freelance musician, performing with many orchestras and ensembles in London and around the UK. I gave both solo and chamber music recitals regularly including concerts at The Southbank Centre, Blackheath Halls and The Old Royal Naval College. I was the only Trinity Laban student selected as a finalist in the Bromsgrove International Young Musicians Competition. I was also a semi-finalist in the Trinity Laban Soloist Competition. I was a member of the Risatina Wind Quintet with whom I performed across the UK and won the June Emerson Launchpad Prize. On top of performing I have been teaching all ages, in and out of schools for 5 years. I have a 100% exam pass rate, but above all, believe in a fun and positive learning environment- music should be fun! (yes, even scales). I am now studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Children's Nursing at the University of Southampton. Despite the change in direction, I still love playing and perform as a professional on a regular basis.
