I've been playing bass for 15 years in a variety of musical settings. I started primarily as a rock and metal bassist, reaching a grade 8 standard, but I have since expanded into multiple other genres and settings. I also play the clarinet and have achieved grade 8 (ABRSM - merit). I played in both Cheshire Youth Orchestra and Vale Royal Schools Concert Band. I am the bassist for indie rock band The Racketeers, as well as ceilidh band Usquebaugh. I can fluently read both sheet music and tab, and my classical training has given me a good background on musical theory, performance and ensemble work. Highlights for me including playing at the Liverpool Philamonic Hall (with CYO - clarinet), headlining Islington Academy with The Racketeers, and appearing as on-stage bassist in the musical American Idiot!

Depending on the setting, I will need about 30 mins to set up

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I can provide my own instrument, amplifier and all cables and effects pedals required.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, I can learn anything required in advanced or sight read if this is not possible.
