Alex has performed extensively at venues and festivals across the UK and Europe with gigs in Croatia, Malta, Bulgaria, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, Andorra & Sri Lanka. He has an undergraduate music degree from The University of Edinburgh and completed a jazz performance masters at The Royal Northern College of Music. Alex is an accomplished session musician and has recorded for a huge number of different artists, ranging from Manchester soul duo Children of Zeus to vocalist LayFullStop and members of The Mouse Outfit. In addition, he has done studio sessions for the BBC and features on multiple releases by Gilles Peterson’s label Brownswood Recordings. Alex has also recorded for numerous tv & film soundtracks including upcoming Netflix film The Strays (The Bureau) and brand new Apple TV series The Essex Serpent (See Saw Films). Alex has also led artistic workshops in Bosnia, Serbia and India to encourage the formation of friendships through collaborative musical composition and performance.
