Alex Cairns

I’m a professional musician available for events and weddings with bases in both Devon and Sussex I started learning to play guitar at the age of 8 and picked up the saxophone a few years later. I studied at music college and then University where I achieved a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music along with RSL Grade 8 on guitar. I’ve since gigged around the UK at various festivals, been a member of multiple bands / ensembles and taught guitar as well as written and recorded music with many different artists Whilst sailing around the world on cruise ship contracts I’ve performed in both party bands and showbands as well as accompanying special ‘fly in’ acts. Playing several shows a day, I’ve perfected every style you may wish for at your event from new and old dance classics to rock and roll and jazz. In recent years I have focused primarily on Ibiza/DJ sax to really get the party started!
