I literally felt in love with this instrument from the very first sight and decided to become a harpist when I was a child. I've been studying different types of harps: pedal, lever and early Irish harp. I’m graduated in Pedal Harp and Celtic Harp in Italy and I’ve been performing since 2006, both for weddings and private events. My interest is focus on Celtic music and my aim is to share this beautiful world with people and make them feel the same feeling that I have while I'm playing: peace, warmth and be at home. I usually play the Celtic Harp and the Early Irish Harp as soloist, performing both medieval music and modern arrangements.

If you are looking for a professional, patient and available musician Alessia is the right person for you. The sound of the harp characterized our civil ceremony, creating an unforgettable moment. We wanted an accompaniment that evoked a dreamlike atmosphere, while remaining delicate and the sound of the harp is perfect for this. Alessia Bianchi was among the teachers of the first and second edition of the Pamparato International Celtic Harp Festival and in addition to the lessons she held a concert and a concert conference with the Irish harp. They were two evocative concerts that captured the audience. Arrangements with attention to detail, careful selection of the repertoire and a soulful performance that expresses all his great passion for the harp and its world.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They love most the magical atmosphere I can create during the ceremony and the elegance of the harp.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I performed in some of the most beautifull ancient Villas in Italy, in botanical gardens, in churches, privata houses, theatre and concert halls.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I've been influenced by the traditional Irish harpist of the 18th century.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, a jewel of architecture designed by the famous 16th century architect Andrea Palladio.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 30 minutes before the performance time

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

My instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. If it is raining then I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.
