Alba Challah is made up of six highly trained classical musicians. We formed this group with a common goal of exploring the vast array of music that exists outside of our familiar bubble of Western classical repertoire, and to challenge and push the boundaries of performance. We play everything from traditional Klezmer, Baroque and film music, all the way to Spanish Holy Week processional marches, classical fusions and even original compositions. You name it, and we will play it!

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! If you prefer a smaller version of us, we also have a 3 piece option that can include the following: Clarinet, Accordion and Percussion Clarinet, Accordion, Bass Viola, Accordion, Cello

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We do try our best to be as flexible as possible, and will strive to do so whenever possible. If you have any change of timings please let us know as soon as possible

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

How much time do you need to set up?

We would usually allow 1.5-2 hours to set up before our performance time, which includes a sound check

Can you roam around while you perform?

Not at this time unfortunately, but we are currently working on making this possible

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our service includes a free online video consultation, and we are more than happy to discuss and work with you to craft a unique set list for your event. Additionally, we are happy to take requests for music not already on our set list, so if you have something specific in mind, let us know!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We are partly an acoustic band, however any PA equipment we opt to use is included in your quote. We don't currently offer any options for lighting

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! We don't charge for this so long as it is arranged a minimum of 30 days before the event
