I can provide the perfect atmosphere for your wedding day. From a tailored set list for the ceremony and drinks reception to stunning background music for your wedding breakfast. With a large and varied repertoire I can cater for your personal musical taste and can also learn requests if you have that special song in mind. I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music and over the last 15 years I have performed at many beautiful venues such as Villa Regina Teodolinda (Lake Como, Italy) Allington Castle, Winchester Cathedral, Shendish Manor, HMS Belfast, Wentworth Golf Club, Grosvenor Hotel, Horsley Towers and Royal Holloway College to name just a few. You can pick the set list for the day from my song list to guarantee you get the songs and atmosphere that your wedding deserves. I can use a battery powered amp meaning that I can set up anywhere that would need. I am a very stress free booking as I will always reply to your messages asap and I am a highly organised and professional musician who knows what's needed for the occasion I would also send you a rough recording of your bridal entrance so you know exactly what to expect on the day.

If you’re looking for a guitarist to play at your wedding, I couldn’t recommend Alan more! He has a huge playlist to choose from and had some many of our favourites. Alan moved around the venue depending on where guests were and so many of our guests commented on his playing. Annoyingly, we were delayed getting to our reception, due to transport issues, and Alan so kindly stayed to play for longer than planned for us. It was the perfect music for our wedding reception and breakfast! We can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and brilliant, Alan. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends! What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love the ability to choose music from my very large song list, I can play all the songs that you would expect to hear at a wedding but i have also have a lot of songs that are different and alternative. For example you can have music from Ed Sheeran, John Legend or music from GreenDay, Blink 182 and Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's completely up to you

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Over the years i have gone through stages of listening to many different genres of music. I feel that this is noticeable when you see how large and varied my song list is. My biggest influences would have to be the guitarists that taught me from an early age and through my undergraduate course at The Royal College Of Music

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

To me every wedding is high profile, the same effort, efficiency and commitment gets put into every performance. I have played at weddings and events where high profile people have attended

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's fine, there's always little things that can change slightly leading up to the day, especially if you have booked well in advance. I'm happy to be flexible to help you with any changes that may occur so please just let me know before the day

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

As I don't really take breaks in-between sets I wouldn't need to provide this service. The only break in sound you would get is if you require me to move to a different area.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually aim to arrive an hour before I'm due to start but i only take 10 minutes to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes absolutely, with my large and varied song list there will definitely be music to suit the atmosphere that you are looking for. You can also choose a request free of charge.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, the only thing that I would need from the venue is a chair

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, if you have a special song in mind that isn't on my list then a request is fine, free of charge.
