I Started playing electronic organ at the age of 8 years old, Then moved on to piano and keyboards/ synthesisers about 4 years after, on leaving school at 16 with Music O level and grade 5 general musicianship, I worked in music retail for 11 years during which time making contacts and gigging in solo and various bands at many venues, have played in a band residence for over 21 years playing all kinds of music and backing shows and working with many kinds of artistes. Also I have much experience working in bands and orchestras for theatre show productions. I also play for functions including weddings,including church organ if required and also for funerals or celebrations including birthdays or anniversaries I am able to work solo or with a band and can accompany singers, and love playing jazz, rock,and popular music from the 1920s to the present day, I have recently performed in 2 bands at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, one being a Meatloaf tribute band in front of over 3,000 people, and also with a funk/disco band on a separate occasion at the festival on the same stage, I have played at several jazz festivals here on the island over the past 8 or 9 years with various groups and including recently an 50th anniversary theatrical group concert performing with an orchestra which included music from Gilbert and Sullivan operettas right through to modern day musicals and shows.
