The Real Swing is a 13 piece band performing classic Rat Pack songs made great by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior with the vibrant modern delivery of Michael Buble and Robbie Williams. Add in a touch of big band Swing and you have the perfect formula for a great show. The band has been performing its show to private, corporate and public audiences for eight years. It is fronted by the talented John Fleming (who honed his trade on cruise ships and in holiday camps) and the professional and semi-professional musician’s are of the highest quality.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will work with clients to ensure their event is not disrupted and will be flexible with setting up and performance times.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide background music and in some circumstances (subject to fee and availability) a full DJ service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually require 1 to 1.5 hours to set up before the start of the performance. We can provide background music once the PA is in place.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists include most of the hits from this genre of music. It is tried and tested for the maximum enjoyment of the audience. We are however, happy to discuss specific requirements with the client.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. Once booked the client can relax. The band provides all instruments, PA and lighting.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If the client wants a special song not in our song list, then it is possible for us to learn and perform a specific number. However, we are a large band and our arrangements are orchestrated which means they have to be written or purchased. This costs £50 per song.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Few acts perform the Rat Pack genre with a full live big band. This guarantees a big show with a wow factor for any occasion.
