I have moved, adapted and changed to whatever 'life' has thrown at me. I trained as a Classical Baritone but all that changed following an RTA over 25 years ago. Never believed I'd sing again but as above, I regrouped, literally re-learned my breathing techniques to be able to get back to singing. I can still perform some Operatic Arias even though I am Wheelchair Dependent but have a penchant for Musicals and the Rat Pack Era but am equally at home singing contemporary songs and folksongs. I grew up in the North West of Ireland so telling stories via music is almost second nature to me. I do voice overs and can provide a wide range and style of voices. I can sing in 9 languages and always happy to learn something new (Given adequate time). I am also a writer and provide Inspirational Quotes and have appeared on both National and Local Radio. Currently, I am doing free live broadcasts during the COVID Crisis to try where possible to help lift spirits. I do StoryTelling twice a day 7/7 and sing every evening. I am a Music teacher too and have loved being able to be the tiny cog in helping others to move forwards. I work with a wide range of people but fair to say that the majority of people who come to me have either lot their mojo and struggle with confidence issues when facing an audience. I have been Staging Shows and Concerts for the last decade and have travelled even to America to stage benefit shows and have sung throughout Europe performing both Jazz and Opera. I like people and as I tell all my students and performers in shows, we have but one job and that is to move/touch someone in our audience. I believe this to be an overriding principle of my approach to music and one by which I have lived for most of my entertaining life. I’ve spent the last at least 30 years trying to give back to the community and no time more so than the During the current Pandemic. The Audience experience then, for me is paramount and that means even something as simple as my music as Therapy Sessions, where I use old tunes, poetry and memories to help folks living with Dementia etc. Thank you for making time to read through my profile.
