Aimée is a Soprano from Liverpool, currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in Vocal and Operatic studies with The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She attained her undergraduate and masters degrees in Musicology and Performance at the University of Liverpool. As she left university she pursued a career in vocal teaching and as a freelance musician. She has worked as a freelance singer for a number of concerts and events including Titanic Live tour, Cream Classical, singing for Karl Jenkins 70th birthday concerts, Llangollen international Eisteddfodd concerts and BBC worldwide event in the Liverpool Echo Arena. As well as multiple live engagements such as concerts, operas, weddings and corporate gigs Aimée has worked as a session singer doing recording sessions as a singer or backing singer for multiple artists and large scale events including Cream Classical in Sefton park. Along side singing Aimée has worked as co-musical director/co-composer/performer for a number of Shakespeare plays with Imaginarium Theatre and associate company of Shakespeare North. In 2020 Aimée started her postgraduate diploma in The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to further improve upon her singing.

From the moment Aimee replied to my email it was a pleasure to deal with her. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the music we were planning for my Dad’s funeral. Aimee made an emotional occasion very special with her beautiful voice. Everyone commented on how lovely the singing was. She helped to carry all the hymns and her solo ‘Panis Angelicus’ was so moving. I can’t speak highly enough of Aimee and would have no hesitation in recommending her for any event.

Aimée is one of the most professional musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Her experience as a choral singer as well as her operatic training at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire make her a prime candidate for soloist roles. Aimée was involved as an soprano for a recording session with me last month, with her tone and knowledge of the music bringing the part to life! I have loved working with Aimée so much that she is the soprano soloist for my baroque themed Carol Concert at St Paul’s (Birmingham) in the Jewellery Quarter later this month! Can’t wait to work with her again!

Absolutely gorgeous performance. At our wedding we wanted something special to walk down the aisle and to walk out of the ceremony to, and Aimee along with her husband, Taran absolutely delivered. The first song was our own choice, but we were unsure of a second song to walk out of the ceremony to. Aimee and Taran not only made several suggestions they even sent us sound clips to help us decide. They made both songs their own in a very natural way and really created a lovely atmosphere. Would 100% recommend!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I like to make events personal which has been mentioned by a number of clients. I will learn the repertoire to help make your event come to life. I am also approachable and flexible.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in many venues across the UK & beyond. I have performed at Liverpool Empire, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Bridgewater Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Llangollen International Eisteddfodd, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire & many Cathedrals across the UK. I regularly perform in churches in Liverpool and Birmingham for concerts and services.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Many Sopranos including Erin Morley, Natalie Dessay and Emma Kirby but also by many other musicians such as The Beatles, Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchell.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed in a number of Cream Classical events in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and Sefton Park as well as performing on stage with Take That in Anfield Stadium.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If there are any changes please contact me as soon as possible. I will always do my best to have some flexibility and to ensure the event run smoothly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

How much time do you need to set up?

This depends on the event and will be discussed at the start of the booking process. I will usually get to a venue a little early to practice with the accompanist.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I will sing the repertoire you select for the event. We will organise this together at the start of the booking process.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I can bring a PA if needed, however, this is very rarely needed in the events, concerts and services that I am involved in.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course, I will tailor the event to your needs. We will organise songs together at the start of the booking process.
