Ailsa Campbell is a freelance soprano, conductor and administrator from Northumberland. She was appointed as the first female Choral Scholar at Bristol Cathedral in 2016 and completed a masters in Solo Voice Ensemble Singing at the University of York with Robert Hollingworth, graduating with distinction in 2019. She was a member of the NYCGB Fellowship Programme 2018/19 and now sings regularly with The Choir of the Chapels Royal, Tower of London and St Martin’s Voices. She is enjoying the 2021/22 academic year as a VOCES8 Scholar. Alongside singing, Ailsa enjoys a busy freelance arts administration career, which currently involves working for the vocal ensemble I Fagiolini, composer Joanna Marsh, Stour Music (Early Music Festival in Kent), St Martin-in-the-Fields, and as the HeartEdge Manchester Choral Scholarship co-ordinator.
