Aidan Newland is a London based saxophonist and composer who performs Jazz, Hip-Hop, Grime, Pop and more! His original compositions take influence from the works of Alfa Mist, Bob Reynolds and Soweto Kinch, resulting in a mixture of delicate ballads, ambient explorations and energetic grooves. Aidan's feature on Kessoncoda's single "Consortium" has amassed over 600k listens on Spotify after being selected for the platform's very own 'Jazz UK' playlist. His work as a member of Project Hilts and with rapper AyiTe demonstrate his harmonious fusion of grime and jazz music.

I performed as part of the Aidan Newland Quartet alongside Aidan. He is tasteful improviser and a solid band player. I couldn't ask for anything more from a frontline musician.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I totally understand that plans can change. Just let me know as soon as possible, and I'll do my best to accommodate any new timings. I'm flexible and will work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, that's no problem, a playlist can be created and tailored to the style & atmosphere that is desired for the event.

How much time do you need to set up?

If PA is provided, I can be set up and ready in 20 minutes. If I provide my own PA system, then 1 hour is required to ensure a safe and suitable setup.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely, feel free to pick any from the list and if you have any songs that you want to request, feel free to let me know.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes! I can bring all the required equipment with me.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Additional songs can be learnt before an event (please note this may affect the total fee)
