An active organist, accompanist and choral conductor based in Edinburgh, Adam is Organ Scholar of St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh. He obtained a Bachelor of Music from the University Glasgow, alongside position as the Lanfine Organ Scholar working with the renowned University Chapel Choir, including accompanying them in a recording of choral settings of Robert Burns’ poems for the Centre of Robert Burns Studies at the University (directed by James Grossmith), whilst also Official Accompanist to the University of Glasgow Choral Society. As part of Cottiers Chamber Music Festival 2016 ni collaboration with Glasgow Science Festival, Adam transcribed Scriabin’s symphonic Epic, Prometheus: The Poem of Fire for organ and piano, and performed it with pianist Nick Lauener alongside a light show designed around Scriabin's own instructions for the Symphonic poem. Also Director of Music at St Ninian’s SEC, Comely Bank, and has recorded a CD of the music of Edinburgh-based composer Chris Hutchings, released August 2017 (the Reid Consort, Cole Bendall).
