Baritone Adam Gouldin is a Postgraduate Scholar supported by the Postgraduate Support Scheme at Leeds College of Music. He has studied with the Carolyn Hargreaves, Andrew Kennedy and is currently under the tutelage of Tim Ochala-Greenough. Adam is an active performer within the conservatoire, performing in events such as their annual gala concerts and masterclasses with renowned singers, Roderick Williams and Deborah York. Over the 2014 summer period Adam sang the solo male role in ‘Canti d’Amore’ with Belgian opera company, Muziektheater Transparant, on a European tour perfroming in such prestigious venues as Paris’ Théâtre de l’Athénée and Belgian international theatre deSingal. He most recently appeared as an official soloist in Leeds Town Hall conducted by Howard Goodall CBE. During his undergraduate, of which he was awarded first class with honors, Adam was the proud recipient of both the Margaret Markland and Donald Webster Memorial Scholarships. Upon completing his MMus degree Adam wishes to further his studies in order to pursue a career in Opera.
