I had the absolute pleasure of having the incredible Shawna perform at my wedding. She was honestly amazing and if you haven’t already booked her for your upcoming wedding, you need to! Shawna made everything easy - she arrived and set everything up and played two amazing sets that had the dance floor heaving all night. Her energy was incredible and her voice is in a league of its own! Thoroughly recommend this superstar. Thank you so much Shawna for making the evening as magical as the rest of the day for me xx

Shawna regularly sings with The Score. She is a talented and versatile vocalist, suitable for a range of venues and events, who can tackle a range of genres. Not only is she a great lead and backing singer but she also engages well with the audience; chatting to them before and after gigs, joining them on the dance floor and encouraging crowd participation. As part of a band or as a solo artist, Shawna is a class act.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line up is as a duo; female vocals and guitar. We can either perform acoustic or electric with backing tracks.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Thats not a problem! We will try our best to be as flexible as possible so everything runs smoothly! Just let us know as soon as you know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We provide this service as standard when you book us! We can tailor this to suit you and your guests so just let us know before your event and we will make sure to have your requests in our playlist! If you would like us to play until the end of your event we will provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We are usually set up and sound checked within 90minutes, quite often we do it in 60! As soon as we are finished we start playing our playlist and we can switch on our lights to help set the atmosphere ready for the evening!

Can you roam around while you perform?

Movement for the guitarist is restricted due to wires! However, lead vocalist Shawna has a wireless microphone and is quite often seen dancing with guests while performing!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have worked hard to create engaging and enjoyable set lists, that covers a range of artists and genres so there is something for everyone! We have taken our experience of working with a host of musicians at events to discover what works best to ensure all your guests have an amazing time!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and Lighting system is included in your quote. We can be quite compact so space is usually not an issue!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't in our set, we can learn one new song for your first dance. Or it might be in our repertoire so you can just ask! However any additional songs will be at a charge of £20 to allow for rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our unique set and performance energy gets everyone up on their feet and having a good time! We're easy going and accommodating so nothing is too much trouble! We just want everyone to enjoy themselves!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Between us we have played at various venues including; festivals, holiday parks and a host of private events. Here is a handful of some of our public venues; The Barley Sheaf, Liskeard Eastern Spice, Loughborough Spondon Social Club, Derby The Tintagel Hotel, Tintagel The Country Quorn Hotel, Loughborough North Terrace NE2, Newcastle The Sun Inn, York

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

A lot of our set is heavily influenced by pop and dance tracks from 90s- present but we do have some classics and country thrown in their for good measure! Our acoustic set is influenced by Live `lounge, hearing your favourite songs in a new way!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We were lucky enough to perform as part of another band at a 90s weekender in Scotland. Here we supported East 17, 5ive, Baby D, Dario G, Sonique, Rozalla and Capella!
