Jon and Toby, who both live in Surrey and share a passion for music, decided to team up for a show one evening. The performance was a hit, and everyone who watched and listened had a great time. That's how Acoustic Aviators was born - a dynamic duo that produces a full band sound with just a small setup. The guys plan to book more duo shows in the future and potentially collaborate with other musicians as well. The name of their act allows for this and will fly the flag for acoustic music going forward. Jon Hart is an award-winning fingerstyle singer-songwriter renowned for his electrifying one-man acoustic experience. His unique style combines modern percussive fingerstyle guitar with gritty vocals and emotive songwriting, which have earned him critical acclaim from numerous media outlets such as Acoustic Magazine (UK), The Times, Guitar World, BBC Radio Folk, and Absolute Radio. Although he's been compared to greats like Jon Gomm and Newton Faulkner, Jon has his own distinctive touch that sets him apart from his contemporaries. He composes and arranges his music to be played live using only one acoustic guitar and a vocal harmony pedal - no looping required! Toby Wightman is a London-based session musician with over 17 years of experience performing, writing, and producing music. He has entertained the British Forces in Bosnia, Kosovo, and the Middle East and has worked with A-list artists like Sam Smith. Toby has honed his skills by collaborating with some of the top session musicians, producers, and artists in the UK and beyond, making him a versatile and accomplished performer.
