ABEO were absolutely AMAZING. We booked them as a duo for our champagne reception and the energy they brought to our day was impeccable! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen dancing at a wedding before the food is served but they had all of our guests up and an impromptu dance floor was formed during the drinks reception! We had so many of our guests comment on how fabulous they were. The set list was perfect and they really got the measure of our guests. Just WOW! Also communication and set up was all fabulous!

Abeo were absolute perfection. All our wedding guests were obsessed with them and we loved the set list. They definitely set the bar high for the rest of the day. Charlene was gorgeous inside and out and we are desperate to see them perform again. Such a lovely pair and I cannot recommend them enough. Believe me, you want them at your event!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love the fact that we engage wi t everyone when we’re performing. They love that we have people up and dancing and if people want to come and sing with us, they can. The feedback we receive is that the music is always just right for the occasion and that the guest come away feeling like they were part of the celebration.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We’ve performed at lots of venues in the UK and abroad. We’ve played the Jazz Cafe, Scala, various music festivals, BBC Live Lounge sessions, L’Oscar, Sexy Fish, Tramp, Grosvenor House Hotel, Scarfes Bar. We’ve played in at Vogue and Duvetica events Italy, weddings in France, Spain, India Ghana.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our influences are D’Angelo, Burna Boy, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Kirk Franklin, Jamiroquai, Calvin Harris, Amy Winehouse

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Our most high profile gig was performing with Emeli Sande at Westminster Abbey I Commonwealth Day for King Charles and the Royal Family, MPs and dignitaries.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to ensure that the line-up you see is what you get on the night. However, we do have pre-auditioned musicians available to “dep” should a band member fall ill/become unavailable. Rest assured if that does happen, the quality of the performance will not be affected. All band members are professional musicians and play with named artists.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we can can be flexible. Duo: Guitar and vox Trio: 2 guitars and vox OR guitar, vox & percussion 4-piece: drums/percussion, bass, keys, vox 5-piece: drums, bass, guitar, keys, vox 6- piece: drums, bass, guitar, keys, vox, sax 7-piece: drums, bass, guitar, keys, vox, sax, trumpet

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We alway try our best to be as flexible as possible. If timings change slightly in the lead up to the event, just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Definitely. We’re very happy to do this and it’s a great way to keep the atmosphere and the momentum going. If you’d like a DJ service after our performance, we can provide this for you.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up 1 hour before the event to give ourselves sufficient time to get everything ready and soundcheck.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We’ve carefully curated our set lists based on our vast experience of performing, figuring out what works best, what gets people up and dancing and ensuring the guests have the best possible time. However, we’re happy to have a chat and make sure we find what works best for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system is not included in our quote. However we can provide a PA system if needed.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn’t included in our set list, there may be a chance we still know it. If there is a special song you’d like us to learn, we’d be happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for that service to take into account rehearsal times etc
