Abbie Parr

I began playing cello when I as 7 and began singing in a Cathedral Choir when I was 8. During secondary school i was a member of the Three County's Orchestra and Cello Orchestra. During my time at the Cathedral choir I was given the opportunity to travel all over the globe giving concerts in places such as Washington, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Australia and France as well as places closer to home such as York, Dublin and London. I recorded 4 CD's and have taken part in radio broadcasts for radio BBC 3,4 and BBC Radio Cymru. When I moved to Liverpool I joined the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Orchestra and the university chamber orchestra. I also joined the University Choir, Chamber Choir, and Girls Choir. Since leaving University I have taken up a post as a private singing, cello and music theory tutor. where my pupils are given the chance to undertake exams with ABRSM and LCM. they have also been given the opportunity to perform at local festivals and in the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn with vocal group Blake. I hope this gives you a brief insight into the work that i have done and am doing and i look forward to working with you in the near future. Abbie
