I am a professional saxophonist and flautist based in South Yorkshire. I specialise in romantic music for wedding ceremonies and background music for drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and other events - playing a variety of styles from relaxed, lyrical music to upbeat, feel-good favourites. I perform as a soloist with backing tracks, bringing my own PA and equipment. I have been playing instruments for over 20 years, and I graduated from my music degree specialising in performance at the University of Birmingham in 2017. I now have over 4 years of experience performing at weddings and events, and I really enjoy working with you to make your occasion even more special. I offer: - Wedding ceremony music on saxophone or flute (music while your guests arrive, as you walk down the aisle, during the signing of the register and as you leave the ceremony) - Background music on saxophone or flute for your drinks reception/wedding breakfast/other event - this can be relaxed, more upbeat, or anything in between! - Packages that combine the options above I will work with you to create a set list perfect for your music taste and the atmosphere that you want to create for your wedding/event.

We booked Abbie to play saxophone at our summer wedding. Abbie was really organised ahead of the wedding, making sure everything was planned in advance, with clear payment terms and easy communication. She was quick to respond to queries, and was really professional but also incredibly friendly. She made sure her set suited our needs for the day and our personal style, and was approachable and professional on the day. She has a great mix of songs available in her repertoire, and some really up to date music which our guests loved. Everything went incredibly smoothly on the day, and we would absolutely recommend Abbie for a wedding!

If you would like me to play for 2 hours at your drinks reception and/or wedding breakfast the price is £250. If you would like me to play for 3 hours at your drinks reception and/or wedding breakfast the price is £375.

This includes music before the service begins, as you walk down the aisle, during the signing of the register, and as you leave the ceremony. This can be on saxophone or flute. It also includes music for 1 hour during your drinks reception, on saxophone or flute. If you would like me to play for 2 hours at your drinks reception (or for 2 hours split between your drinks reception and wedding breakfast), the price is £375. I can, for example, play for the ceremony on flute and for the drinks reception on saxophone, or vice versa.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible so that everything runs smoothly for your event, so just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I’ll usually arrive 30-60 minutes before the performance to make sure that everything is ready for the start of your wedding/event.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I will work with you to make sure that the set list is perfect for your wedding/event, so if you have specific songs you know you’d like me to play that’s great, but I can also build the set list for you based on what kind of music you tell me you like.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, 3 songs of your choice are included in all of my packages.
