AXIOM is a bold and innovative 12-piece a cappella ensemble from the UK. Our mission is to redefine the ordinary, delivering high-energy, high-quality performances that break away from the traditional a cappella mould. We’ll connect with an audience through a range of genres and songs, always seeking to deliver your familiar favourites in a way that makes them feel new. The group is borne from the passion of singers graduating from the collegiate a cappella world - our multi-award-winning roster of performers had such fantastic experiences during their time in university groups that we decided to continue the magic in a professional project. After forming at the end of 2021, we won the Open A Cappella Competition with our debut performance, then were selected to compete in Italy, bringing home an Outstanding Soloist award for our soprano, Georgia. Most recently? We’ve just got back from our 5-star rated debut show at the Edinburgh Fringe - AXIOM: Fundamentals of A Cappella! The family-friendly show introduced audience members to the building blocks of a cappella and what's involved in a purely vocal music group, exemplified through a mix of classics and new tunes in our set. Suffice to say, we're able to tailor our music to a wide range of performance contexts - from family-friendly, easy listening background music, to an electrifying anthem-stuffed set that will simply bring the house down. Whether it’s a corporate gathering, a wedding, party or any special occasion, we can be the soundtrack to your next event!
