We booked Acoustra for our wedding in November this year. I couldn’t have the band due to restrictions so I had Liam and Dylan. They were just fantastic! They played all different types of music and were so accommodating in playing all kinds of music for everyone! They sang our first dance which was brilliant, Dylan was so helpful in the lead up to the big day and I seriously could not have asked for anything more of them, everyone is still talking about the whole night, and thanks to DJ Brian for rocking out the remainder of the day, it was amazing. The dance floor was hopping all night. Thanks so much lads! Ye were brilliant!

We booked Acoustra for our wedding in May this year. They were just fantastic! They played all different types of music and were so accommodating in playing some Irish dancing music for the dancers! They sang our first dance which was brilliant and finished with a Coldplay song which everyone is still talking about. It was amazing. The dance floor was hopping all night. Thanks so much lads! Ye were brilliant!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We love to interact with our audience. We thrive on social interactions with everyone in the room. We never play to a Setlist, we read the crowd and adapt to what suits their taste. We take requests during our performance and we welcome people to join us on stage to sing along.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played many types of venues from small bars to stadiums. We have adapted ourselves to suit any environment and we have played all over the world.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

There are such a variety of tastes in this band that it is hard to pinpoint influences, but to name a few it would be……Bowie,Springsteen,Dire Straits, Dave Matthews, Waterboys, U2, Chris Stapleton,

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have played a wedding to the Irish band Little Green Cars drummer, performed for Michael Flatley, performed for private parties for certain individuals of high esteem that we care not to mention. Performed for corporate events for the Irish government.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up consists of four musicians that can play a variety of different instruments. Our standard line up is Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Accordion, Bass, Drums. We can include Mandolin, Banjo, Piano, Low Whistle, Electric Guitar. We can break the band down to a two piece or three piece.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem if your schedule does not run to plan. We will accommodate you as best we can

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide a full DJ set or simply provide background music to create or keep an atmosphere. Should you require a DJ set then an extra fee would be applied depending on time and amount of people

How much time do you need to set up?

We normally take 45 mins to an hour to set up depending on size of stage and amount of equipment we need. We can play in a big venue requiring a full sound and stage build or we can adapt to smaller venue with the appropriate equipment needed

Can you roam around while you perform?

We can if necessary but we like to keep it to the stage

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Feel free to pick what you like. We love interaction and we love asking for requests. Our usual tagline is “ there are only 7 songs we don’t know, don’t pick one of them”

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Everything is included in our quote to you

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We love a challenge and learning new songs is one of our favourites. There is nothing we wouldn’t attempt. This is a free service as part of our commitment to your event.
