My name is A.K, and I’m an African electronic sound DJ. Music has always been my favorite way to express myself and connect with people. Originally from France with French and Togolese roots, I moved here eight years ago, driven by my love for music and the desire to discover new cultures and sounds. In 2020, I discovered Amapiano and it completely changed my perspective. It opened the door to a wider world of African electronic genres I hadn’t been exposed to back in France. I became obsessed with the richness and diversity of these sounds. At some point, just listening wasn’t enough so I started DJing. Until now, most of my experience has been in clubs and radio, but I’m looking to expand into corporate events and rooftop sessions. I believe the range of sounds I bring can create unique and memorable experiences in those settings as well. I play a mix of African electronic genres, including Afrohouse, Afrotech, Amapiano, Gqom, and global-inspired rhythms. Known for smooth, vibrant sets that blend culture and energy, I aim to bring the right vibe to every space I play in.
