  1. booked Das Brass for a wedding

    Verified

When looking for wedding bands, we came across Das Brass- as luck would have it, on the same day we were browsing, we found they were playing a gig five minutes down the road from us! We went along to see them play and immediately knew they were the perfect ensemble for our day. In the run up to our wedding, we also saw them perform at Glastonbury, further cementing that they were the right choice! Bring on our October wedding and the 5 piece group who played were Incredible and brought the most brilliant vibe and tunes. They performed a spectacular cover for our first dance and DJ Dials Davis went from drummer to decks for the rest of the night. Would happily book again and again!

An amazing band! They completely understood what we were looking for, made helpful suggestions and even learnt our first dance which wasn't a well known song. Great set list with well known rock songs, everyone was dancing all night and they were so much fun. So many guests commented on how good the band was. Would recommend them 100%, couldn't have asked for better. Really pleased we booked them

  10. booked Nicola Gerrard for a funeral / memorial service

    Verified

Nicola's playing added such beauty, sensitivity and grace to my late mother’s funeral service. Nicola took time in advance, selecting the most suitable songs and working out the best way to perform them. This resulted in her playing some of my mother’s favourite music with great timing and sensitivity for the occasion. Nicola also went beyond our expectations by accompanying our chosen hymns. We received so many wonderful compliments from attendees about her playing, which was simply breathtaking. It is clear that she raised the spirits of the mourners at a difficult time. She is an absolute pleasure to deal with, from hiring through to performance; a truly remarkable and professional musician. If you need a flutist, do not hesitate to hire Nicola, she will meet all your expectations and more.

  12. booked Take On Three for a private event

    Verified

The Pretty Ugly were even better than we had hoped they would be. We had been to watch them perform at a venue in Sheffield where they were easily the best band on the night so we knew that we liked their sound and energy. They very kindly learned a few songs that we liked (Tom Walker and some songs by The Script) and encouraged us to send them a list of songs that we would like to hear on the night. They also came over to our venue to meet us and check out the logistics and their communication was always very prompt and professional. They really got the crowd up and dancing and so many people commented on what a professional sounding band they were. We also had a number of excellent musicians and music teachers amongst our guests so it wasn’t an easy crowd to impress! We will definitely follow their progress on social media and go to more of their gigs as they are definitely a band with a great sound and who have the potential to go far! Thank you again for making our wedding/party such a huge success!

  17. booked Erica Sinclair for a wedding

    Verified

10/10 would recommend. We found Erica whilst looking for a harpist to play for our wedding in October. She was quick to respond to any queries we had, day or night and remained punctual on the day. She also wanted to ensure we had what we wanted for our big day which included performing a song which was not in her song list, all songs played by herself were absolutely beautiful!!

  20. booked Azure for a wedding

Outstanding in every way possible. From start to finish, Azure were excellent. All throughout; communication was clear, thorough and relevant. On the day, the guys were prompt, courteous and professional; setting-up quickly, quietly and efficiently. No request was too much and we couldn't have asked for more. Their sets were brilliant and exactly what we wanted. When they started, I was talking to some of our guests and they were so good, I thought it was still the backing songs playing! If you are on the fence, don't be.....book them now! Guys.....thank you. You helped yo make our wedding day very special indeed
