VerifiedWe booked Drew to pipe at the Internment of our parents ashes. He really exceeded our expectations in every way. Great comms right from the start. He worked closely with us on our music choices and was familiar with everything we picked. He turned up early on the day, immaculately turned out in an amazing kilt and coordinating jacket and waistcoat. His Piping was phenomenal. He did the family proud. Wouldn't hesitate in using him again or recommending him to others.

VerifiedUnfortunately we was not satisfied with Wendy this weekend. We had organised a festival theme hen party outside. Which I informed her of weeks in advance. When she arrived and I told her where to set up under the gazebo, she let out a sigh. We asked for Wendy to play Ibiza classics for the first hour and then more upbeat current pop for the seconds hour. Some of the requests we had asked for she didn’t have the music for but she said she would ad-lib for parts of it. Well I would say that Wendy only played the sax for not even a full hour out of the two. She put on grease and the Macarena (why this I don’t know) and hardly ad-lib at all to any music. The song list was all over the place, she played slow music that you would hear at a wedding not at a hen party. She mentioned about having Motown music on but I never heard any of it.. When asked if we could request a couple of songs or change the music up a bit she wasn’t very approachable. Quite apprehensive. The only thing she did well was Jubel. When speaking to the 30 guests at all different ages, none of them felt Wendy was very good. Which is a shame. Lastly when she finished her set, she just cleared up and left. I was in the loo at the time of her finishing and when I come out she was gone. No goodbye no feedback no nothing. I wouldn’t not have Wendy again nor would I recommend her. I never leave reviews on anything good or bad but this time I feel like I have to as I wouldn’t want someone to get the same experience I had. Maybe she would be better at weddings and not the type of even I was having.
