Severn Duo were just wonderful! Not only did they show expert musicianship, but they also communicated very professionally throughout the whole booking procedure and their performance on the day. I highly recommend them for any event. They added a depth of feeling to our ceremony that cannot be conveyed without being there. Amazing!

We were honoured to have Declan perform at our wedding celebrations. Not only is he exceptionally talented, but he is one of the nicest people we have ever met. He made the whole experience appear effortless and was happy guide us on creating the refined yet relaxed atmosphere we wanted. We simply cannot recommend him highly enough. Truly outstanding!

This is the band you need to book! I can't fault any part of the experience. Great friendly personal communication from the start, Peter wanted to get to know what we liked and what vibe we wanted and really put us at ease from the start. On the day they were brilliant, super professional, really friendly, and most importantly, everyone danced. Even people who don't dance. We were only a small group of 28, but it felt like a huge party and that's no small thanks to the way Peter performs. They even went over and above and gave an encore, otherwise I don't think anyone would have gone home!! Book this band, whether it's 6 of you in your front room or 300 people. You won't regret it!!

Michael played at my father's funeral - he was amazing. Lovely to deal with, full of ideas and totally reliable. He was sociable and played wonderfully. So many people commented on the fact that his playing made the day. Thanks Michael!

When the band arrived on site they reach out and introduce themselves. First impressions they where kind and friendly to us. We as a couple really appreciated the first dance they prepared, it meant a lot. For the rest of the night, we had some many great compliments on the band especially from the Americans who never experienced a Ceilidh before. They loved the group dancing aspect, it was a huge win with our wedding guest. Overall the band surpassed our expectations in every way. Especially with helping everyone feel comfortable to dance.

Kane was amazing for the 60th birthday we hired him for. He was punctual, v polite and went above and beyond to make sure all had a ball even sang a few Elvis and country songs as requested perfectly. We had a great evening. Bowstring arrived well in advance and set up their equipment efficiently. They encouraged the guests, age 8-80 to get on the dance floor and Martin led us through the dance moves. Everyone enjoyed the evening enormously. We would be happy to have them again if we ever have another ceilidh.

Monika played the violin at my aunt’s 70th birthday party. She was fantastic. she lit up the room with her music. She engaged with the guests as she played. Everyone loved her & can’t stop talking about her. She played the songs that were selected & also played a special one for my aunt which totally made her happy. She showed up dressed very beautifully which absolutely fitted the party dress code. I’m so impressed with Monika & I can say 100% she’s highly recommended, She’s also a good communicator & will work with you to achieve your goal. Thanks Monika. You made our day.
