She contacted me a week beforehand to say that her voice was still hurting after being ill, but offered an alternative singer to join her or to do a more instrumental set giving me options. We decided on more instrumental songs and this worked well with the format and feel of the event. It added an extra level to the atmosphere and helped create a nice vibe for the evening. Thanks Flo!
