His playlist was just what we wanted and above all of that he was a lovely guy! Highly recommend, especially as he saved the day taking on our wedding less than 2 weeks before the day due to a cancellation. Very very happy!

VerifiedJohn played at an afternoon garden pub party we had organised to celebrate the life of my Dad. We wanted some live music to provide a nice atmosphere and requested music from my dads era 60/70s. John pitched it perfectly in terms of volume and the songs he played. The music and singing were excellent, and he took some song requests from the party attendees. Afterwards he stayed for a drink and chatted to our guests for a bit. Highly recommend.

VerifiedWow! We hired the lovely Cliff Hall for my daughters 18th birthday party and truly was one of the most amazing experiences for her and all of our guests in attendance. We had some requests that we discussed prior to the event and Cliff also offered to play happy birthday whilst guests sang along to the cake presentation. All I can say is, he gave a stunning performance and truly made the day even more special. Well worth every penny for hire and such a wonderful, kind and impressionable man alongside the amazing talent. Anyone thinking of hiring Cliff for the evening, will not be disappointed. What a thrilling and delightful performance, which was held in our garden and for our lovely neighbours who weren’t able to attend, but still managed to hear and express their delight at the beautiful sound of Cliff playing the bagpipes. I had invited guests with a range of experiences with Ceilidh's, some with none at all, some with some and some with many dances behind them: everyone came to me after and said it was the best dance they'd ever had. They really made our reception special and brought everyone together. It was so special to see guest's dancing and laughing who I never thought would. The caller was really clear with instructions and the band took their time for us to practice the routine but in a way that made sure the laughter never died. The communication was spot on and they responded so quickly and were sensitive to our needs. I would recommend Deer's leep to anyone they are incredible and hands down the best entertainment.
