Although the lyrics are in Latin, and it was composed way back in 1825 by Schubert, the romance of this song will not be lost on anyone who hears it. The soaring sound of a singer or musician performing this piece is truly something to behold. This fact was not lost on the Royals: over 29 million people witnessed Sheku Kanneh-Mason perform a breathtaking rendition of Ave Maria at the royal wedding of Meghan and Harry.

A lesser-known love song, this rustic tune by Australian band The Paper Kites could melt even the coldest of hearts.
