The occasion was a memorial for a friend and she learned a couple of his favourite songs, pitching them perfectly for the tone of the occasion as well as playing brilliant arrangements of songs from her repertoire - she's a really class act with an incredible ability to captivate a crowd.     I booked Sou’d Up after seeing them perform at a New Years Eve party at a Surrey pub in Dec 2019. Our group of friends danced all night long to Soul’d Up’s amazing renditions of soul and funk classics. It was like listening to the original recordings but performed live and I realised this was not just another pub band! I spoke briefly to a couple of the musicians and I was told stories about famous artists they had played with previously. I asked for a card because I knew that when I retired I wanted this band to play at my party. I thought I had just met the Wrecking Crew! Two and a half years later I finally retired and booked Soul’d Up (the bands name being very apt too!) They played at my private party in a Surrey pub garden and 60 guests were absolutely blown away by the sounds. The pub management were also blown away asking for the bands contact details saying it was the best they had ever seen there! What more can I say? Richard, Spy, Ollie, Mark and vocalist Sheila are amazing and I would not hesitate in recommending them! 11/10

    The Brim were the perfect ceilidh band for our party. They turned up in good time and were very adaptable and happy to fit in with our timings, but more than anything they were great musicians and had a really happy, jolly and fun caller and all in all made our night just perfect. If we had another barn dance we would book them again without hesitation. Can't wait for the next time!
