A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Luke earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in voice. Throughout his collegiate career, he distinguished himself as both a performer and leader, serving as Student Conductor of the Miami University Men’s Glee Club and holding leadership positions within various vocal ensembles and organizations. His dedication to musical excellence earned him multiple scholarships and honors, including the Lee and Rosemary Fischer Scholarship, the Frances Cole Memorial Scholarship, and an American Institute of Musical Studies Scholarship.
As a performer, Luke has extensive experience in choral music, solo vocal performance, opera, a cappella ensembles, and musical theater. His training has equipped him with a diverse repertoire spanning classical, sacred, contemporary, and popular styles, allowing him to adapt to a wide variety of performance settings. Whether performing as a soloist, leading a choir section, or collaborating with fellow musicians, Luke is known for his strong musicianship, expressive artistry, and professional demeanor.
In addition to his performance background, Luke is a passionate educator who believes music has the power to inspire, connect, and transform lives. Through his student teaching experiences in both middle school and elementary settings, he developed a student-centered approach that emphasizes creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
