Customer questions
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
No problem, just reach out as early as you can. Minor adjustments like shifting your start or end time are usually straightforward to accommodate as long as my schedule permits. For date changes, deposits can be applied once to a new mutually available date within six months. Overtime on site is billed at $150/hour in 30-minute increments.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, absolutely. Just let me know in advance what genres or decades you prefer, and I can run background music through my Bose system before I begin. I rarely take breaks once I get going, but if a quick pause serves the event flow, I keep curated playlist audio running so the room stays lively.
How much time do you need to set up?
I typically need only 20 to 25 minutes. My Bose PA system is compact, self-contained, and quick to soundcheck. I generally arrive an hour before showtime to load in and ensure everything is dialed in and ready well before your guests walk through the door.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Definitely. I have an active catalog of over 450 recognizable hits spanning the 60s through 2000s. Feel free to contact me for the full list ahead of time to pick out your must-plays, or share the catalog with guests so they can browse and submit live requests right from their phones.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, my setup is completely self-contained. I bring a premium Bose PA system and a wireless mic for your announcements. All I need from the venue is access to a standard electrical outlet within 25 feet. For outdoor events, please let me know if covered shelter is provided; if not, I can bring my own canopy.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
It depends on the song and the timeline. If it is a tune I am already somewhat familiar with and we have enough lead time before your event, I am more than happy to learn it for a special moment. Reach out with your title ideas early and we can discuss what is doable.
