Clara McLain

Clara McLain is a classically trained guitarist specializing in elegant live music for weddings, private events, luxury hotels, corporate gatherings, and special occasions throughout South Florida and beyond. With a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Southern Methodist University, Clara brings both refined musicianship and a modern, approachable style to every performance. Her repertoire spans classical masterworks, romantic favorites, Spanish and Latin music, bossa nova, jazz standards, film music, and contemporary songs arranged beautifully for solo guitar. Clara has performed for prestigious venues and organizations including The Breakers Palm Beach, Palm House Palm Beach, Opera Orlando, Moorings Park, the Perot Museum, and corporate and private events throughout Florida and Texas. She has also performed for luxury brand and hospitality events, including Ferragamo, and regularly works with event planners, venues, and entertainment agencies. Her performances are especially well suited for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, welcome parties, dinners, corporate receptions, and intimate celebrations. She enjoys creating a musical atmosphere that feels sophisticated without being overly formal, and she works closely with clients to select music that complements the setting and occasion. Whether performing Canon in D for a ceremony, The Girl from Ipanema during cocktail hour, a romantic Italian favorite such as Parla Più Piano, or a modern song arranged for classical guitar, Clara’s goal is always to make the music feel personal, effortless, and memorable. Clara can perform with professional audio equipment for both indoor and outdoor events and is happy to accommodate special song requests whenever possible. If you’re looking for beautiful, polished live guitar music that adds warmth and elegance to your event, Clara would love to help create the perfect soundtrack for the occasion.
