With more than 100 original songs written and recorded, Maryland-based singer, songwriter, bassist, and musician Chris Tolentino brings decades of songwriting and live performance experience to every stage. His musical journey began in 1999 as the lead singer and bass player for alternative rock band SmudgeProof. Since then, his original music has reached audiences around the world, with songs featured on compilation CDs alongside artists including Iggy Pop, The Thrills, O.A.R., Al Green, and The Bloody Lovelies, as well as receiving airplay on internet radio stations across the globe. Today, Chris performs throughout the DMV and Mid Atlantic region as a solo acoustic artist, and one-man band.

I like a lot of different artists ranging from old to new such as The Beatles, CCR, Duran Duran, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, Stone Temple Pilots, The Eagles, Queen, Luke Bryan, U2, The Killers, etc.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Downtown Baltimore at the Hard Rock Cafe.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm pretty flexible up to the date of the performance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide intermission music if necessary.

How much time do you need to set up?

15-30 min max

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I play a wide variety of covers with synchronized custom backing tracks. If I know the song I can sing and perform it.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
